Description For Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias)

Marshalls PLC, through its subsidiary Marley, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias for their Keele site. The role involves maintaining site equipment and machinery, providing fault diagnosis both mechanically and electrically, and performing routine maintenance. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in maintenance within a continuous process control industry, a completed relevant recognized apprenticeship, and hold relevant electrical and mechanical qualifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining all site equipment, machinery, and associated services
  • Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Providing mechanical/electrical support for breakdowns
  • Working with internal departments and external suppliers
  • Using the Maintenance Management System (SAP)
  • Contributing to feasibility studies, Capex, and continuous improvement projects
  • Adhering to health and safety, environment, and quality management policies
  • Prioritizing workload and maintaining a high standard workplace using 5s methodology

The position offers a competitive salary range of £40,526.56 to £46,653.75, including shift allowance, plus benefits. The work schedule follows a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:30 am – 6:30 pm and 6:30 pm – 06:30 am).
