Marvell, a leading semiconductor solutions provider, is seeking a Design Verification Senior Staff Engineer to join their Custom Compute & Storage (CCS) Business Unit, one of their fastest-growing divisions. This role focuses on the functional verification of co-processor sub-system units, handling features like PCIe/Ethernet packet processing, offload protocol engines, cryptography, processor scheduling, and machine learning.

The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that powers data infrastructure across enterprise, cloud and AI, automotive, and carrier architectures. As a senior staff engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and executing verification plans, creating testbenches, and ensuring comprehensive coverage of complex systems. The role requires expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and various simulation tools, combined with strong leadership abilities to mentor junior engineers.

  • Develop and execute verification plans using random techniques and coverage analysis

Requirements For Design Verification Senior Staff Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields and 4+ years of related professional experience
  • Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., VCS) and knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
