As an AI Engineer at Max AI, you'll be at the forefront of applying machine learning and NLP technologies to solve complex medical billing challenges. The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, particularly in NLP and LLMs, with hands-on experience in production environments. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks while contributing to the development of internal AI systems.

Responsibilities For AI Engineer
- Build, experiment, and evaluate AI agents and ML models in the NLP domain to improve the accuracy of medical coding/billing
- Contribute to the building of internal AI frameworks
- Collaborate with team and engage directly with Operations team and customers
- Complete product ownership across all challenges
- Follow an agile, iterative process with clear accountability
- Regular interactions with customers for product evolution
Requirements For AI Engineer
- 6+ years of ML/AI/data science in a production setting
- Well-versed in using ML/NLP python packages such as tensorflow, pytorch, scikit-learn, transformers
- Expertise in AI/ML and specifically in NLP
- Experience with LLM, including supervised fine-tuning, usage of AI frameworks, evaluations of LLMs
- Experience working at high-growth startups (nice to have)
- Exposure in highly regulated industries and/or healthcare (nice to have)
- Experience with AWS (nice to have)
