Senior Operations Support Systems Engineer

Megaport, a global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), is seeking an experienced hands-on OSS and operations automation engineer for the role of Senior Operations Support Systems Engineer. This position is crucial for implementing the Network Management and Service Management system, creating synergies with existing tools, and developing automation for day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience, be bilingual in Spanish and English, and possess extensive knowledge in telecommunication networks, cloud platforms, and OSS/BSS tools. Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, architecting solutions, owning deployment processes, and maintaining infrastructure and applications.

The role requires strong technical skills in areas such as Python coding, system integration, and experience with databases like IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. The successful candidate will work closely with front-line support, customer and network operations engineering teams to drive improvements in operations tools and automation strategies.
