Research Engineer - Audio Data Collection Team

Meta Reality Labs is at the forefront of developing world-class virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. This role is part of the Audio team, focusing on leading the design and development of large-scale data collection and processing systems for audio AR & VR technologies. The position combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, working on complex multi-modal systems for human-oriented data collection.

The role involves collaborating with researchers and engineers to build novel computational & machine learning systems, while providing technical direction for the team. You'll be responsible for developing tooling for data processing, visualization, and management, as well as influencing team-wide strategy for data collection and ML system development.

Meta offers a competitive compensation package including base salary range of $170,000-$240,000, plus bonus and equity opportunities.
