This role combines leadership and technical expertise in securing game development infrastructure and operations. You'll lead a team of security analysts and engineers, working closely with Microsoft Gaming and Security teams to protect critical R&D assets.
The position requires deep expertise in security operations, including Identity & Access Management, Incident Response, Endpoint Security, and Cloud Security. You'll be responsible for architecting security solutions, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring robust protection across the studio's infrastructure. The role offers a unique opportunity to impact security at the intersection of AAA game development and enterprise technology.
Working in a hybrid environment (up to 50% remote), you'll collaborate with diverse teams across the organization, from creative to technical stakeholders. The role demands strong leadership skills, technical depth in security domains, and the ability to translate complex security concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineering Lead
- Engage with Leadership team, presenting security proposals and initiatives
- Serve as Product Owner for the security team
- Envision and architect high-quality distributed services for security
- Partner with Microsoft Gaming and Microsoft Security
- Lead and coach a team of security professionals
- Drive proactive security measures across cloud, onsite and partner environments
- Develop detailed roadmaps for engineering teams
- Design process and Operational Improvement for Security Compliance Programs
- Provide strategic Cloud Security Architecture guidance
Requirements For Senior Security Engineering Lead
- 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, cyber security, SOC detection, SIEM
- 3+ years of experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- 3+ years leading a security function
- 5+ years of experience in operational security
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, OSCP preferred)
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Technical skills in network security, cryptography, identity management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
