Description For Azure ACE Engineer II

We are the ACES Strategic team (Advanced Cloud Engineering & Supportability), a global engineering team in Azure CXP focused on Strategic Azure Customers. We are customer-obsessed problem-solvers who orchestrate and drive deep engagements in areas like Incident Management, Problem Management, Support, Resiliency, and customer empowerment.

As an Azure ACE Engineer II, you'll be the primary engineering contact accountable for customer support experience on Azure. You'll work with Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and Technical Support Engineers to resolve critical issues and support key customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive resolution of critical and complex problems
  • Support key customer projects on Azure
  • Be the voice of the customer within Azure
  • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis
  • Partner with product teams and stakeholders
  • Handle critical escalations and provide technical guidance
  • Drive improvements based on customer feedback

Requirements For Azure ACE Engineer II

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of Software industry experience
  • 6 years of IT experience supporting enterprise level applications
  • 4+ years experience in customer/client facing role
  • 4+ years experience with cloud computing technologies
  • Experience with being on-call
  • Experience in cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, Data Platform)
  • Experience with monitoring technologies (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience in automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
