Cloud & AI Solution Engineer – AI Applications

Microsoft is seeking a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer to drive technical sales and lead hands-on engagements with customers in the AI applications space. This role sits at the intersection of AI innovation and practical implementation, helping customers leverage Microsoft's cutting-edge AI technologies including AI Foundry, Azure AI, and Responsible AI.

As a Solution Engineer, you'll work directly with developers and platform leads to design and implement secure, scalable architectures. You'll lead technical engagements through hackathons, proof of concepts, and architecture workshops to accelerate adoption of Microsoft's developer tools and cloud platforms. The role requires deep expertise in AI frameworks, application architecture, and cloud-native development.

You'll be responsible for driving technical sales with decision makers, building trusted relationships with developers, and resolving technical blockers. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies while maintaining expertise in areas like Gen AI Ops, security, and monitoring. You'll represent Microsoft through thought leadership in developer communities.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience, with expert knowledge of full-stack application architecture, AI/ML models, and cloud-native development. You'll need strong skills in technologies like Python, Java, or .NET, along with experience in AI frameworks like Semantic Kernel and Foundry SDK.
