Description For Customer Experience Engineer - Azure CXP

Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a Customer Experience Engineer to join their ACES Strategic team. This role focuses on supporting strategic Azure customers through incident management, problem resolution, and technical support. As a customer-focused Advanced Cloud Engineer, you'll be the primary engineering contact for customer support experience on Azure, working with various teams to resolve complex technical issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

The position involves working with cloud computing technologies, particularly Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, and various monitoring solutions. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting enterprise-level applications, managing critical incidents, and serving as a bridge between customers and product teams. The role requires strong technical skills in cloud technologies, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-obsessed mindset.

This is a hybrid position offering up to 50% work from home flexibility, based in Dublin, Ireland. Responsibilities For Customer Experience Engineer - Azure CXP

  • Track customer incidents and engage with strategic customers
  • Troubleshoot through diagnostics and communicate progress
  • Use engineering tools and customer telemetry to detect issues
  • Serve as connecting point between product team and customers
  • Handle critical escalations and conduct impact analysis
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive improvements
  • Act as voice of customers to product groups
  • Partner with other teams to resolve critical customer issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support solution delivery

Requirements For Customer Experience Engineer - Azure CXP

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise level applications
  • Experience in an external customer/client facing role
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies
  • Experience with being on-call (preferred)
  • Technical skills in IaaS, PaaS, Data Platform, Monitoring technologies
  • Communication skills and ability to empathize with customers
  • Experience in automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#)
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
