As a Security Solution Engineer (SE), you will play a pivotal role in driving security across every stage of the development lifecycle. You'll guide customers through secure, scalable solution design, influence technical decisions, and accelerate AI applications and agents into their development workflows. The role combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft's security solutions with strategic customer engagement.
The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while helping customers improve their security posture, modernize their applications leveraging AI, and realize the full value of Microsoft's platform. You'll be leading technical engagements including hackathons, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops to accelerate adoption of Microsoft's developer tools and cloud platforms.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise in cloud security architectures, solutions/technologies including Microsoft M365 Defender, Defender for cloud and Sentinel, along with strong customer engagement skills. You'll be responsible for developing strategies to improve client security posture and tailoring Microsoft's security messaging for different audiences.
The role offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC: USD $137,600 - $222,600) plus benefits.
