Job Description

Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a Senior Customer Experience Engineer for their ACES Strategic team (Advanced Cloud Engineering & Supportability). This role is crucial in ensuring Microsoft Cloud customers receive world-class support and engineering expertise.

As a Senior Customer Experience Engineer, you'll be the primary engineering contact for customer support experience on Azure. You'll work with strategic Azure customers, focusing on critical problem resolution, project support, and being the customer's voice within Azure. The role combines deep technical expertise with customer advocacy, requiring both strong engineering skills and excellent communication abilities.

The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing up to 50% work from home, and involves 0-25% travel. You'll be part of a global engineering team that's customer-obsessed and focused on turning Microsoft Cloud customers into fans. The role requires expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure services, and the ability to handle complex technical challenges while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key aspects of the role include incident management, problem resolution, customer support, and driving technical solutions across various Azure services. You'll work closely with Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and Azure engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Expertise in Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Data Platform)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
