Job Description

Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a Senior Customer Experience Engineer specializing in Networking to join their ACES Strategic team (Advanced Cloud Engineering & Supportability). This role is crucial in ensuring Microsoft Cloud customers receive world-class support and engineering solutions.

As a Customer Experience Engineer, you'll be the primary engineering contact responsible for customer support experience on Azure. You'll work with a diverse team of professionals, including Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and Technical Support Engineers, to resolve complex technical challenges and drive customer success.

The position offers a flexible work arrangement with up to 50% work from home opportunity and requires 0-25% travel. You'll be part of a global engineering team focused on Strategic Azure Customers, working to turn Microsoft Cloud customers into fans through exceptional service and technical expertise.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Driving resolution of critical and complex problems
  • Supporting key customer projects on Azure
  • Being the voice of the customer within Azure
  • Troubleshooting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications
  • Developing and sharing technical best practices
  • Conducting root cause analysis and driving improvements

You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies including Core IaaS (Compute, Storage, Networking), Data Platform services, and monitoring technologies. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills and a customer-obsessed mindset.

  • Experience with being on-call and driving mitigation for mission critical incidents
  • Relevant experience with Networking
  • Experience with Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Monitoring)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
