Solution Engineer - Data Platform

Microsoft is seeking a Solution Engineer - Data Platform to join their team focusing on commercial FSI customers. This role combines deep technical expertise in databases and analytics with customer-facing responsibilities in the era of AI.

The position involves working with Microsoft's rich portfolio of database and analytics products, including IaaS and PaaS services on the Azure Platform. As a Solution Engineer, you'll be instrumental in helping enterprises maximize the potential of Microsoft's cloud database and analytics stack throughout their deployment journey.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Collaborating with engineering leaders and platform teams to accelerate the Fabric Data Platform
• Leading hands-on engagements including Proof of Concepts, hackathons, and architecture workshops
• Guiding customers through secure, scalable solution design
• Influencing technical decisions and accelerating database and analytics migration
• Working with Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL) and Analytics (Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview)
