In Mixed Reality, people—not devices—are at the center of everything we do. Our tech moves beyond screens and pixels, creating a new reality aimed at bringing us closer together—whether that's scientists "meeting" on the surface of a virtual Mars or some yet undreamt-of possibility. To get there, we're incorporating diverse groundbreaking technologies from sensors, computer vision, machine learning, human-computer interaction, AI, and more. We're a growing team of talented engineers and artists putting technology on a human path across Holographic devices.
The Mixed Reality Systems Engineering team has an immediate opening for a highly motivated System Engineer II with experience across silicon, firmware, embedded devices, computer vision, human perception, and display technologies to help us evolve our products.
As a Systems Engineer II, you will:
- Document appropriate test requirements and review testing plans to determine the suitability of current test equipment.
- Write design verification test cases, and develop and execute moderately complex test plans.
- Conduct automated testing on moderately complex products and create testing dashboards.
- Identify complex feature flaws using data analysis and validate features by building prototypes.
- Provide input on project schedules and deliver hardware engineering aspects of moderately complex features or products.
- Choose available parts and evaluate complex details of materials used in production.
- Identify common project risks, communicate team progress, and create detailed reports for products and features.
- Develop and deliver training, as well as document complex details.
This role requires a mix of technical skills, project management, and communication abilities. You'll be working on cutting-edge Mixed Reality technologies, contributing to the development of innovative products that blend the physical and digital worlds.
