Description For Technical Product Marketing Engineer - Datacenter

MIPS Technologies is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Engineer to lead Go-to-Market activities worldwide for datacenter products. This role involves customer and partner engagement, growing demand for current products, and defining next-generation solutions. You'll work closely with sales and FAEs, creating marketing plans, product roadmaps, and competitive analyses. Key responsibilities include creating collateral, being the main PR contact, and performing market research in the high-performance compute space.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 5 years of advanced technical marketing experience in datacenter markets. Knowledge of RISC-V, ARM, MIPS, embedded CPU architectures, and SoC architecture is crucial. Experience in strategic planning, business development, and familiarity with networking, storage, AI, and communications infrastructure products is required.

  • Create and execute a global marketing plan to expand MIPS brand and online presence
  • Work with Product and R&D leads to create marketing-driven product roadmap
  • Create competitive analysis including technical comparisons and bench testing
  • Create collateral including presentations and white papers
  • Be the main contact for PR agencies and drive overall strategy for product
  • Perform ongoing market research for new trends in high-performance compute space

Requirements For Technical Product Marketing Engineer - Datacenter

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of advanced technical marketing & roadmap strategy development experience in datacenter markets
  • Familiarity with networking, storage, AI, and/or communications infrastructure products and ecosystem
  • Understanding of RISC-V, ARM, MIPS, embedded CPU architectures, and SoC architecture
  • Experience in strategic planning, analyzing business developments, sales forecasting
  • Business Development skills to drive revenue and market share growth
