As a Founding Software Engineer (Frontend + UX), you'll be more than just a frontend developer - you'll be a user experience architect with full-stack capabilities. You'll join our fast-moving engineering team with high ownership and user-first mentality, working directly with biotech companies to understand workflows, redesign experiences, and ship high-quality production UIs. Your work will directly impact how biopharma teams run clinical trials and accelerate patient access to life-changing therapies.

We're reimagining how biotech users interact with data for critical decisions, building experiences that adapt to specific roles and accelerate workflows. You'll drive product look and feel from first click to insight delivery, crafting responsive UIs using React/Next/TypeScript while maintaining high frontend quality standards. You'll also conduct user research, own frontend systems architecture, and collaborate across the stack as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in high-ownership engineering roles, strong frontend expertise (React/Next, TypeScript, HTML/CSS), full-stack capabilities, and a design mindset with strong product sense. You'll work from our SF office near Montgomery Station at least 3 days weekly, joining a culture built on smart work over burnout, rapid iteration, and team bonding through activities like bowling nights and wine tastings.
