Responsibilities For IT/OT Systems Engineer, GxP Manufacturing and Labs

  • Ensure uninterrupted performance of systems that support GMP operations
  • Troubleshoot and maintain infrastructure components in GMP settings
  • Administer and support core manufacturing systems
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and enterprise digital teams
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Partner with scientists, engineers, and operators to design and implement scalable IT/OT systems
  • Support qualification and validation processes
  • Provide strategic input on IT/OT tools and infrastructure
  • Implement and troubleshoot cybersecurity applications

Requirements For IT/OT Systems Engineer, GxP Manufacturing and Labs

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, physical science or related field
  • 6+ years of experience working with IT/OT infrastructure in manufacturing, lab systems, control systems and building management systems
  • Experience with IT/OT implementation with DCS, MES, BMS, PLC, OPC, HPLC, GC, LIMs, lab analyzers
  • Prior experience working for a Pharmaceutical company required
  • Experience working with virtual environment (VMware/Hyper-V) and/or cloud platform (AWS preferred)
  • Experience working with RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle)
  • Experience working with application and web server (IIS)
  • Experience working with backup/recovery systems
  • Experience working with Cybersecurity endpoint protection applications
  • Experience working with infrastructure tools
  • Understanding of network routing, switching and firewall concepts
