Lead Software Engineer - Parametric

Morgan Stanley's Parametric division is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Operations Technology team in Minneapolis. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, focusing on building critical middle and back-office operations systems. The position offers a hybrid working model with 3 days in office.

The role demands an experienced leader who can both manage a development team and drive technical excellence in building scalable enterprise solutions. You'll be working with cloud-native technologies (AWS), designing microservices, and evolving existing systems while maintaining high performance and resilience standards.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of various technology solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment. The role requires deep technical expertise in Java/J2EE development, particularly with Spring Boot, and extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern development practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $110,000 to $225,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses.
