Senior Database Engineer (DBA)

Motive is seeking a Senior Database Engineer (DBA) to ensure their databases are performant, reliable, scalable, and automated. The role involves overseeing more than 100 databases, primarily PostgreSQL, and working with AWS managed data layer services. Key responsibilities include designing high availability database architecture, partnering with developers and SREs, optimizing database performance, automating tasks, and managing security policies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PostgreSQL experience, strong AWS knowledge, and expertise in database architecture, query tuning, and monitoring tools.
