Audio Software Engineer Co-Op (Fall 2025)

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Audio Software Engineer Co-Op to join their Global Audio Solutions team in Plantation, FL. This role focuses on developing portable devices with Public Safety Mission-Critical Audio, involving extreme noise suppression, high dynamic range mics, and advanced DSP audio algorithms. The position offers hands-on experience in wireless speech communications under challenging conditions for demanding customers like firefighters, soldiers & law enforcement officers.

The co-op position, starting August 2025, provides an opportunity to work with cutting-edge audio technology and product design. You'll be involved in developing audio analysis methods, automating lab testing, and implementing machine learning techniques for audio processing. The role requires strong programming skills in Python/Matlab, understanding of DSP, and experience with audio laboratory work.
