Engineering Manager, Delivery Engineering

Netflix is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead critical initiatives in Delivery Engineering. As part of the Productivity Engineering organization, you'll be responsible for implementing infrastructure and tools to enable visibility into the health of hundreds of applications that power Netflix. You'll partner with engineering teams across Netflix to build tools and infrastructure that enable fellow engineers to gather timely and actionable insights to help the Netflix service operate reliably.

Key responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Maintain high standards in hiring and retention, inspire timely execution, and ensure consistent output even in ambiguous situations.
• Technical Vision: Invest in delivery platform architecture to meet evolving business needs.
• Product Vision: Understand future Netflix engineering needs and develop an iterative roadmap with product leaders.
• Domain Expertise: Show thought leadership in delivery engineering and foster a productivity engineering culture.
• Customer Partnerships: Collaborate with customers and partners, driving alignment.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and architecture
• Deep empathy for engineering teams and their business goals
• Track record of building and leading exceptional software engineering teams
• Experience coaching and developing technical leaders and managers
• Ability to balance competing priorities across multiple cross-functional partners
• Exceptional communication skills
