Responsibilities For Workday Integration Engineer
- Design and develop integrations between internal and third party systems (SaaS)
- Support, troubleshoot and maintain applications and integrations
- Contribute to the design and evolution of system architecture
- Effectively communicate, partner with and execute cross-functional projects
- Develop a deep understanding of the business area and systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, configurations, and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in integration technologies and AI/LLM integration
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration methodologies and processes
Requirements For Workday Integration Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building integrations within the Workday ecosystem
- Experience of XML transformation with XSLT
- Experience working with various document transfer formats such as EDI and ISO
- Experience working with REST & SOAP API
- Experience with developing applications using Workday Extend
- Experience in developing enterprise application integrations using middleware tools such as Mulesoft or similar
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Javascript
- In-depth understanding of system architecture
- Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes
- Very good understanding of HR technology tools and domain
- Ability to work well with business users in requirement gathering, solutions design, development, and QA
- Action-oriented, self-motivated, and independent
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Established verbal and written communication skills
