Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Services
- Write and maintain high quality production-ready code
- Be available for production support
- Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products
- Ship features end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers
- Lead larger initiatives, delegate development tasks, and influence technical execution
- Generate technical roadmap for improving scalability, performance, observability, testability
- Perform code reviews and uphold high bar for best practices
- Suggest changes to coding standards style guide
- Challenge product requirements and drive consensus to improved solutions
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Services
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Solid understanding of cloud security practices
- Experience building full stack cloud applications
- Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
- Experience with SQL query/schema optimization
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong self learning and improvement mindset
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends if needed
