As an ASIC Engineer, you'll be deeply involved in architecting, designing, and verifying high-performance hardware systems. You'll work with various hardware models, from performance models to RTL test benches, and collaborate closely with architecture and design teams to optimize system performance, area, and power consumption.

Responsibilities For ASIC Engineer

  • Work on hardware models including performance models, RTL test benches and emulators
  • Work with architecture and design teams on system performance, area, and power consumption trade-offs
  • Develop workloads and test suites for graphics, machine learning, automotive applications
  • Make architectural trade-offs and implement RTL
  • Develop test plans and verification infrastructure
  • Create verification environment using UVM methodology
  • Develop timing analysis/signoff work-flow
  • Perform chip level integration and floor planning
  • Design and implement test access mechanisms, IO BIST, memory BIST and scan compression

Requirements For ASIC Engineer

  • BTech/MTech with 2+ years of experience in micro-architecture, RTL development
  • Strong digital design fundamentals
  • Understanding of ASIC design flow
  • Experience in GPU/CPU/SOC Performance verification
  • Knowledge of CPU, Memory controller, Bus Interconnect, Cache coherency
  • Experience with Graphics Processing Unit design & verification
  • Good debugging and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-cultural teams
