As an ASIC Engineer, you'll be deeply involved in architecting, designing, and verifying high-performance hardware systems. Responsibilities For ASIC Engineer
- Work on hardware models including performance models, RTL test benches and emulators
- Work with architecture and design teams on system performance, area, and power consumption trade-offs
- Develop workloads and test suites for graphics, machine learning, automotive applications
- Make architectural trade-offs and implement RTL
- Develop test plans and verification infrastructure
- Create verification environment using UVM methodology
- Develop timing analysis/signoff work-flow
- Perform chip level integration and floor planning
- Design and implement test access mechanisms, IO BIST, memory BIST and scan compression
Requirements For ASIC Engineer
- BTech/MTech with 2+ years of experience in micro-architecture, RTL development
- Strong digital design fundamentals
- Understanding of ASIC design flow
- Experience in GPU/CPU/SOC Performance verification
- Knowledge of CPU, Memory controller, Bus Interconnect, Cache coherency
- Experience with Graphics Processing Unit design & verification
- Good debugging and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with cross-cultural teams
