Responsibilities For Senior Research Engineer, Autonomous Vehicles Data Mining
- Developing and applying state-of-the art machine-learning methods for searching in AV data
- Building, training and evaluating multi-modal models on videos and related metadata
- Taking ownership for the efficient design and leading the implementation of ML-based search methods
- Communicating and collaborating with research and production teams
- Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high software quality standard
Requirements For Senior Research Engineer, Autonomous Vehicles Data Mining
- MS or higher or equivalent experience in computer engineering, computer science or related fields
- 8+ years of relevant experience showing both technical depth and breadth
- Strong background and proven experience in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and robotics or autonomous vehicles
- Excellent software engineering skills in Python or C/C++
- Experience working in and leading large software development projects
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, hands-on mentality
