Description For System Software Engineer – AUTOSAR

NVIDIA, a global leader in accelerated computing and GPU technology, is seeking a System Software Engineer specializing in AUTOSAR for their Automotive Platform solutions team. This role is integral to their Autonomous Driving Software Stack, focusing on developing system software for microcontrollers on the NVIDIA Automotive Drive Platform.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of automotive technology and autonomous driving. You'll be responsible for developing safety-compliant software following ISO26262 standards and working with AUTOSAR components. The role spans from high-level software integration to low-level software development, ensuring safety-certified solutions for Automotive Platforms.

As part of NVIDIA's innovative team, you'll collaborate with global teams to solve complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, experience with AUTOSAR methodology, and a passion for automotive software development. Additional experience with ASPICE, Cybersecurity, and Functional Safety would be advantageous.

Responsibilities For System Software Engineer – AUTOSAR

  • Develop safety compliant (ISO26262) system software for NVIDIA Drive solution for autonomous vehicles
  • Development of AUTOSAR components (SWCs, MCALs) and configuration of BSW modules in Davinci Configurator or similar tools
  • Drive complex technical issues to closure by collaborating with teams from all around the globe

Requirements For System Software Engineer – AUTOSAR

  • BS/MS or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting skills in Perl, Python, etc.
  • Working knowledge on AUTOSAR ECU software architecture and AUTOSAR methodology
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and strength with system-level debugging
  • Proactive and self-motivated
