OpenAI is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their Frontier Clusters team, which builds and maintains some of the world's largest supercomputers for cutting-edge AI model training. This role combines frontend and backend development to create powerful interfaces for managing massive-scale AI computing infrastructure. You'll be working at the intersection of web development and supercomputing, building tools that enable efficient monitoring and management of exascale workloads.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Engineer, Frontier Clusters
- Design and develop full-stack web applications to track, monitor, and manage large-scale AI workloads in real time
- Collaborate with researchers and infrastructure teams to translate complex operational needs into intuitive UIs and scalable backends
- Build data visualization tools to provide insights into job scheduling and resource allocation
- Optimize backend services to handle massive data throughput while ensuring low-latency performance
- Implement frontend components for scheduling, storage, and compute systems
- Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability across globally distributed supercomputing infrastructure
Requirements For Full Stack Engineer, Frontier Clusters
- Significant experience in full-stack development with modern frontend frameworks and backend technologies
- Experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications for complex distributed systems
- Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, distributed databases, and cloud infrastructure
