Responsibilities For Mechanical Product Engineer, Robotics

  • Evaluate and refine new physical configurations
  • Integrate novel sensors, actuators, and computational elements
  • Help shape the next generation of embodied AI
  • Support testing, deployment, and collaboration with external partners (up to 15% travel)

Requirements For Mechanical Product Engineer, Robotics

  • 8+ years of consumer or industrial electronics experience, including 2+ years designing robotics hardware
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
  • Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and tolerance analysis
  • Excellent 3D CAD experience
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Direct hands-on experience in mechanism design, focusing on actuators, motors, gearing and limb design
