The role involves contributing to OpenBet Locator / Casino development efforts, where you'll work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You'll be responsible for writing basic unit tests, participating in code reviews, and maintaining code quality while learning from experienced team members.

The ideal candidate should have some experience with Node.js and React.js, either through internships, projects, or early professional work. You'll need a basic understanding of RESTful APIs, exposure to SQL databases, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of AWS services, Git, CI/CD tools, and container technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities For Associate Software Engineer
- Write basic unit tests and participate in code reviews
- Maintain code quality and learn from feedback provided by senior team members
- Participate in planning sessions and Agile ceremonies
- Learn and contribute to performance, security, and scalability considerations under mentorship
- Build understanding of the overall system architecture
- Actively participate in team stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Identify and raise potential issues or areas for improvement
- Implement basic customer requirements with assistance
- Follow coding standards and practices set by the team
Requirements For Associate Software Engineer
- Some experience (internships, projects, or 6-12 months) using Node.js / React.js
- Strong willingness to learn and pick up new technologies
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs
- Exposure to relational databases (SQL)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to receive and act on feedback
