This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. The Account Manager will work as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/solutions. They are responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory and coordinate with other members of the sales team to support account sales and business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic account planning over 1-3 years and conduct regular account reviews
- Achieve quota and revenue targets for Oracle Systems products
- Proactively identify new customer potential
- Position appropriate Oracle Systems products based on the customer's IT strategy
- Identify projects and potentials, implement them, and provide realistic and secure assessments
- Expand existing customer relationships at all relevant levels, including CxO level
- Collaborate closely with all Oracle Lines of Business
- Involve and manage partners to expand Oracle Systems footprint
Requirements:
- University degree or comparable professional training
- At least 4 years of sales experience in solution-oriented IT product sales
- Experience in building new business relationships
- Fluent in English and German
- Independent, proactive work style and high self-motivation
- Senior and positive demeanor
- Team-oriented approach
- Excellent sales, presentation, and communication skills
- Creativity, visionary and strategic thinking
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle products and solutions
- Willingness to travel
