The Account Software Engineer is responsible for defining, developing and supporting the sales process for technology solutions with account teams. You will support the Oracle Sales Rep for a set of industry aligned customers, covering both pre-sale and post-sale activities. The role involves building relationships, driving advocacy, educating customers, and discovering opportunities that can leverage Oracle Technology across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer alignment for adoption, usage, and expansion of Oracle core Technology Software products and solutions
- Driving alignment with Oracle Sales Rep to create and execute sales strategies
- Executing Technical Qualification to validate sales opportunities
- Orchestrating technical teams to ensure technology drives customer business outcomes
- Building and maintaining ongoing technical engagement plans with customers
- Architecting appropriate technical solutions to meet customer business requirements
- Presenting Oracle's technology and demonstrating deep familiarity with infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities
- Acting as the customer's single point of contact for Technology Software Presales
Required skills and experience:
- Broad technical experience with Oracle Technology Software core products (Oracle Database, Database Options, and Middleware)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all management levels
- Presales and discovery experience with customers
- Understanding of software architecture and hybrid Technology and Cloud environments
- Strong commercial business understanding
- Ability to identify key trends and leverage them in decision making
- Experience in engaging and influencing senior leaders
- Strong collaboration skills and drive for impact and influence
