Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Cloud Support Engineer to join their world-class cloud support experience team. This role combines system administration, incident command, customer support, and NOC engineering disciplines to support Oracle's next-generation IaaS cloud service.
As a Principal Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be part of the broader Engineering organization, acting as the voice of the customer to influence product features and improve customer experience. The role is critical for maintaining successful customer relationships and platform success. You'll work with a dynamic team focused on three major areas: customer service request troubleshooting, incident management for internal technical issues, and change management for customer dedicated regions.
The position requires deep technical expertise in cloud technologies, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation environment. You'll be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, managing escalations, and ensuring optimal customer experience while working with various stakeholders including Service & Development teams, Incident Management, Operations, and Account Management.
