Senior Applications Developer

Oracle is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to join their Fusion development team. This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for commercial applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you'll work on the Fusion Global HR, Talent, Configuration Workbench, and Compensation product areas.

The position requires performing high-level design based on external specifications, implementing changes to existing software architecture, and building complex enhancements. You'll be responsible for creating and executing unit tests, reviewing integration plans, and ensuring quality across products.

This is an IC3 level position requiring independent judgment and full competency in the area of expertise. The role may include project lead responsibilities and supervision of junior personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong object-oriented programming skills, particularly in Java/J2EE technologies, and database expertise including SQL and PL/SQL.
