Senior Network Developer [NRB]

The Network Region Build (NRB) team is responsible for deploying greenfield infrastructure, establishing network connectivity for new Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) regions, and enabling compute connectivity for child sites. This team manages data center fabrics, edge networks, backbone, fiber metro networks, and supports multi-cloud initiatives.

The role involves designing, deploying, and operating large-scale global cloud networks, requiring deep understanding of network protocols and programming skills for automation at scale. As part of OCI's cloud network team, you'll support a vast infrastructure of network devices and millions of connected servers across dedicated backbone and internet-based connectivity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Network lifecycle management through build and upgrade projects
• Technical leadership for team projects
• Development of new runbooks and procedures
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Participating in network solution and architecture design
• Leading post-event root cause analysis
• Developing automation scripts and collaborating with network automation services
