Software Developer 3

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Software Developer 3 to join their Technical Operations and Support (TOS) Platform Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to build and operate massive scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment. You'll be working on a new highly available and scalable ticketing platform used for cloud operations.

As a Senior Member of the team, you'll be instrumental in defining, designing, and delivering platform solutions using cutting-edge technologies. The position involves close collaboration with product teams, addressing existing challenges, and influencing strategic direction. You'll manage the complete software lifecycle, from development through production operations.

This is a greenfield development opportunity offering significant autonomy to build and innovate without legacy constraints. The role combines product feature development with operational responsibilities, including creating run books, implementing ops automation, and managing structured logging and metrics instrumentation.
