Software Developer 3 (IC3)

Oracle's Database cloud services development group is seeking a highly motivated technical lead with systems knowledge to work in the Database Cloud Platform Development team. This role involves architecture, design, prototype, and development of various aspects of Database on Cloud releases. The successful candidate will contribute to the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures, working on non-routine and complex tasks that require advanced technical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing new features, enhancements, and next-generation Exadata cloud services
• Collaborating with senior developers, Product Management, IT, and Operations teams throughout the SDLC
• Participating in transformational projects to deliver scalable, extensible, and differentiated Platform-as-a-Service on the Cloud
• Working with the Oracle Compute product team to integrate DB with the Compute Platform
• Interacting with various Oracle Product teams to integrate their offerings into the DB-as-a-Service solution
• Providing level 3 support and root cause analysis for systems-related issues on Exadata Cloud services

The ideal candidate should have 6 to 10+ years of experience and be proficient in Cloud Services, Java, Python, Linux, and operating systems.
