Oracle's Health Application and Infrastructure team is seeking a Software Development Director to lead the development of new healthcare services operating at high scale in a distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. This role combines technical leadership with people management, requiring expertise in distributed systems and highly available services.
The position involves owning the vision and execution of software design and development for major components of Oracle's Health and AI platform. - Own the vision and execution of software design and development for major components of Oracle's Health and AI platform

Requirements For Software Development Director
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience
- 5+ years of dev manager experience
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
- Experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems
- Strong grasp of Unix-like operating systems
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure preferred
