Description For Technical Project Manager, Data Center Infrastructure

The Data Center Infrastructure Construction team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to facilitate the construction process for multiple data centers projects. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are managed effectively to meet schedule, quality, and design requirements. The team is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art data center facilities at scale and at pace, comprising experienced project managers, commissioning experts, and construction specialists.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Project oversight in the construction of data centers
  2. Schedule management and risk evaluation
  3. Quality assurance and compliance
  4. Base building and MEP infrastructure focus
  5. Tenant fit-out integration
  6. Design coordination and stakeholder communication
  7. Regular site visits

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of base building data center construction, proven experience in managing startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. They should also possess expertise in developing long-term strategies, deep understanding of data center design and operational requirements, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's growth and success. The position is at the IC4 career level and may be eligible for bonus and equity.

  • Facilitate the construction process for multiple data centers projects
  • Ensure projects are managed effectively to meet schedule, quality, and design requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
  • Analyze projects to evaluate risk profiles
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes

  • 10+ years of experience
