Description For Software Engineer, Revenue

Orb is revolutionizing the billing infrastructure landscape for AI and software companies, having secured $44.1M in funding from prestigious investors like Mayfield, Menlo Ventures, and Greylock. As a Software Engineer focusing on Revenue at Orb, you'll be at the forefront of building critical infrastructure that powers usage-based pricing for modern companies.

The role combines technical depth with business impact, as you'll be working on complex systems that handle everything from data ingestion to subscription management and revenue recognition. You'll be joining a high-velocity team that values customer centricity, efficiency ("minutes matter"), initiative ("run with it"), and attention to detail.

Working from their San Francisco HQ in a hybrid setup (3 days/week in office), you'll have the opportunity to work directly with customers like Vercel, Pinecone, and Replit, transforming their complex billing needs into streamlined, automated solutions. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to balance system complexity with user experience, making it perfect for engineers who enjoy full-stack challenges and direct customer interaction.

The compensation is competitive ($162K-$180K plus equity), and the benefits package is comprehensive, including excellent healthcare, unlimited PTO, and meaningful equity options. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who want to make a significant impact in a well-funded startup that's defining the future of monetization infrastructure.
