Description For Developer Advocate

Paddle is seeking a Developer Advocate with a focus on content to join their Developer Experience team. This role is crucial in creating world-class documentation, examples, and tooling to support Paddle's API and product features. The ideal candidate will produce clear documentation and supporting content, from video scripts to integration how-tos, which will delight customers and be critical to the growth of the platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing content that reaches potential and existing customers directly
  • Working internally and externally to understand DX opportunities
  • Creating compelling copy in collaboration with various teams
  • Documenting features, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Guiding the presentation and writing of API documentation
  • Implementing technical documentation standards
  • Gathering feedback to keep documentation and content up-to-date

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent written and oral skills in English
  • Experience delivering API or developer-focused digital content
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable
  • Experience working in both early-stage and larger technology companies
