This role, based in Washington, D.C., is part of the Technical Operations (IT) group and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining collaboration infrastructure across the business. The position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $150,000 annually, plus additional benefits and stock options.

The ideal candidate will serve as a Microsoft 365 subject matter expert, managing both commercial and GCC High environments while working closely with various internal teams. Key responsibilities include implementing Microsoft products, maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks, and developing automated solutions using PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities For Systems Engineer - Microsoft 365

  • Configure and manage both commercial and GCC High M365 and Azure environments
  • Act as Microsoft 365 SME and point of escalation for tech support and operations teams
  • Drive the implementation of Microsoft products and workflows
  • Partner with Compliance teams to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Research, develop, and deploy new techniques to manage systems programmatically
  • Incorporate latest industry trends into M365 environment
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements For Systems Engineer - Microsoft 365

  • Experience automating solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
  • Experience configuring, administering, and owning Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Fluency in at least one programming language
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment in high-pressure situations
