Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer III - Equipment
- Solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions
- Execute detailed root cause analysis and recommend vetted solutions
- Lead the design, development, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Support production by creating and maintaining product and process documentation
- Design fixtures, acquire off-the-shelf tooling and equipment, and implement new fixturing
- Develop specifications of products, processes, and equipment
- Coordinate with suppliers and external resources for process improvement
- Train assemblers, quality control and technicians on processes, equipment, and documentation
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory standards
Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer III - Equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or related degree with 4+ years relevant engineering experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other computer applications
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, Lean/Flow Manufacturing preferred
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment recommended, medical device industry preferred
