Senior IT Developer – JD Edwards (JDE)
Job Description
Pierce Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, is seeking a Senior IT Developer specializing in JD Edwards (JDE) to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining and developing their enterprise systems, focusing on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development and technical design. The position offers an opportunity to work with a company that has been manufacturing trucks for emergency services since 1913, with over 27,000 Pierce trucks currently in service.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise in JDE systems and business acumen, as you'll be responsible for creating functional specifications, gathering requirements, and ensuring optimal system performance. You'll work closely with project managers and system analysts to implement solutions that support the company's manufacturing operations.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $91,800 - $153,200, along with comprehensive benefits including medical insurance from day one, 401k matching, and up to $10,000 in yearly tuition reimbursement. This is an in-person position based in either Appleton, WI or Dodge Center, MN.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software development, strong knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.x, and expertise in JDE APIs, custom UBEs, and Business Functions. Responsibilities For Senior IT Developer – JD Edwards (JDE)
- Document and track current and future state business processes and requirements
- Create functional specifications based on business requirements
- Integrate testing for project and provide support for user acceptance testing
- Define test scenarios, test plans, test strategies, and create test scripts
- Provide artifacts and educate the support team
- Identify and gather appropriate business requirements
- Work with project manager and systems analysts to build test plans
- Define and create project related policies and procedures
- Review end user training documentation and assist in training if needed
Requirements For Senior IT Developer – JD Edwards (JDE)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Five (5) or more years of experience in Software Development, Information Technology, or related area
- Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.x and related technologies
- Knowledge of JDE API's, custom UBE's, Business Functions (BSSV), and NER's
- Experience with JDE Orchestrations
- Knowledge of JDE database structures
- Understanding of different operating environments
