Staff Software Engineer

PlayOn! Sports is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Engagement and New Revenue team. This role is crucial in developing newer revenue streams and fan and social media engagement products. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead and participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Engagement and New Revenue services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement cloud native software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership within the engineering team
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Act as a subject matter expert in specific technology areas
• Lead cross-functional teams and projects
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to overall software architecture
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong skills in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular JS, Ember)
• Expertise in cloud native software development
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, Go, C#, or Rust
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, CI/CD tools, and databases
