The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of PointClickCare's cloud-based healthcare software. With a competitive salary range of $112,500 - $125,000, this position requires 10-15 years of experience in software engineering and/or cybersecurity. The role involves creating detection rules, working with product teams on security implementations, managing incident response, and developing security tools.

Responsibilities For Senior Product Security Engineer
- Create and maintain detection rules and signatures for security tools
- Work with product teams to identify, remediate, and fix product deficiencies
- Collaborate with incident response team to analyze and respond to security incidents
- Analyze security data from various sources to identify patterns and threats
- Develop and maintain custom scripts and tools for threat detection
- Integrate threat intelligence feeds into detection mechanisms
- Create reports on threats, impacts, and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cyber security professionals and product teams
- Stay up-to-date with latest cyber threats and technologies
Requirements For Senior Product Security Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 10-15 years of experience in software engineering and/or cyber security
- Expert level understanding of software engineering skills with Java, C# or other OOO languages
- Proficiency in security tools and OWASP Top 10 knowledge
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
