Scada Engineer

Powertalent, a Portuguese company specializing in TI projects, is seeking a Scada Engineer to join their team. Created in 2015 in a technology disruption group, Powertalent offers consulting solutions tailored to real needs, performs cyber security assessments and diagnostics, and provides nearshoring services.

As a Scada Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate SCADA solutions with existing infrastructure, develop and optimize SCADA software applications and interfaces, and ensure system performance through regular updates and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in SCADA systems design and implementation. Proficiency in SCADA software such as Wonderware, Ignition, or equivalent is required, along with a strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and experience with PLC programming and integration.
