We are seeking an experienced BI Engineer (m/f/d) for one of our portfolio companies. You will help implement the company's vision and drive growth. In your daily work, you will focus on integrating data from numerous source systems and build and manage all BI dashboards for different departments. You will be fully responsible for building and expanding the data infrastructure and help the entire company make data-driven decisions.

Your responsibilities:
- Business Intelligence and the entire Data Platform
- Selection, implementation, and optimization of BI tools and technologies
- Close collaboration with various departments to collect and prioritize relevant requirements
- Management of the database infrastructure and ensuring clean integration of data from numerous source systems using Azure Data Factory
- Provision of data in Power BI dashboards
- Visualization of business data in business correspondence (offers, invoices, etc.)
- Support in implementing requirement management for prioritizing company-critical report requests
- Training key users in independent handling of reports with a focus on correct data interpretation
- Optional: Data-driven business process automation through automation tools and integration platforms
Your profile:
- Passion for data, data processing, and data-driven decisions
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
- Relevant work experience (3+ years) in a BI role with state-of-the-art data management
- Understanding of the complete data lifecycle (ETL pipeline, integration, storage, processing, visualization, etc.)
- Understanding of data modeling and experience in designing database structures
- Deep experience with Microsoft Power BI or comparable tools and Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Programming skills in database programming languages (SQL, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights
- Experience in leading BI projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ideally, experience with low-code platforms Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Power Automate
- Optional: Knowledge of a Forms tool, ideally Quadira Advanced Forms
