Android Engineer

Qonto, the leader in online business banking for SMEs and freelancers, is seeking an Android Engineer to join their dynamic team. As part of the mobile engineering team of over 130 skilled professionals, you'll work on critical architectural and UI features for their business finance solution app. The role involves crafting cutting-edge financial features, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, solving real-time synchronization challenges, and championing quality through continuous refactoring and unit testing.

The Qonto app is 100% written in Kotlin, based on MVVM & Clean architecture, using the Coordinator pattern, Coroutines, and Flows. The team is engaged in initiatives such as modularization, reducing build time, and migrating towards Jetpack Compose. They prioritize tech quality, adhering to Clean Code/SOLID principles and maintaining a robust testing framework with over 14,000 unit tests and 1,400 UI tests.

As an Android Engineer at Qonto, you'll have the opportunity to work on various product areas such as Cards, Spend Management, Invoices, Bookkeeping, and Design System. You'll be part of a fast-paced work environment focused on quality, building features for over 400K clients across Europe. The role offers expert coaching, mentorship, collaborative problem-solving, and knowledge sharing within the tech and product team.

The ideal candidate should have experience in mobile engineering, particularly in Android development, with a good understanding of the Android SDK. You should be pragmatic, solution-oriented, and interested in delivering value in a fast-growing environment. Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and fluency in English are essential.
