Description For Camera SW Customer Engineer, Sr Staff-Automotive Infotainment

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Staff Camera Software Customer Engineer for their Automotive Infotainment division in China. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on supporting customers in implementing Qualcomm's technology solutions. The position requires deep expertise in embedded systems, particularly in camera software and automotive infotainment platforms.

As a senior technical leader, you'll be responsible for managing the Camera CE team while providing high-level technical support for Qualcomm's BSPs across Linux, Android, and QNX platforms.   • Supporting customers to commercialize products with Qualcomm Linux/Android/QNX BSPs
  • Customer Q&A and troubleshooting of BSP
  • Supporting AGL/Genivi specification components
  • Analyzing customer requirements
  • Proposing feature design & implementation
  • Managing Camera CE team
  • Leading team members for efficient support

Requirements For Camera SW Customer Engineer, Sr Staff-Automotive Infotainment

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
  • Proficient in coding with C/C++, and experience in assembly
  • Good knowledge of QNX/Linux/Android OS, multi-thread, data structures and basic algorithms
  • Good knowledge of Application Processor architecture
  • Good understanding of hardware blocks – Camera AP, ISP, Serializer and De-Serializer
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience using software management systems (e.g. GIT, P4, GERRIT)
  • Professional leadership skills with management experience
  • 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering experience
