RTL Design Engineer (GPU) - Staff

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Staff-level RTL Design Engineer specializing in GPU development to join their hardware engineering team in Bangalore. This role combines cutting-edge GPU architecture development with hands-on hardware design experience.

The position requires expertise in designing GPU or CPU cores and ASICs for multimedia and graphics applications, with a strong foundation in hardware description languages like Verilog/VHDL. You'll be working with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies including Synopsys synthesis, static timing analysis, and formal verification techniques.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing sophisticated hardware solutions, implementing low-power design strategies, and creating comprehensive test plans. The role demands a deep understanding of computer architecture and arithmetic, along with proficiency in programming languages like C/C++. Experience with DirectX graphics hardware development (DX9-12) is particularly valuable.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a strong educational background in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
